Cliff Castle Casino Hotel presents The Gathering, an all-day event on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Hosted by Thomas Beauty, the event starts at 10am with performances from the Burnette Crown Dancers. At 11am, The Jones Benally Family present their Traditional Navajo Dancers. Bird Songs are sung to honour those who have passed, to help the spirit cross over. Today, birdsongs are still sung during traditional wakes from dusk to dawn.
